Summer is right out the door, have you been wanting to go to the beach, but at the same time not wanting to go to the beach because you do not have a summer-ready body? Here are some tips that will help you make your dream body to come true. 

Besides workouts and exercises your diet plays an important role in determining how your body is going to look. You may be following what professional bodybuilders do, drinking protein powder, taking supplements. However, most of the time you really do not know are they helping you or harming you, and they are not cheap in the first place. 

Game Changer!

I had been doing something different for the past few months, and the results are unbelievable. I used to be like everyone else trying to follow the professionals drink protein shakes and supplements. In my head saying that they are the Pros so if they look big I will too. Not until recently, I stop drinking protein powder and supplements, instead, I drink smoothies. A lot of people do not think that smoothies can help get you a summer-ready body, well after reading this think again.

The reason I changed from protein shakes to smoothies is that I discovered my body size stay the same. I had been doing the same thing every day, going to the gym and always have a pre-workout and post-workout protein shakes(although it tastes like crap I am just drinking for my body). At first, my body did look better, however, it pretty much stays the same afterward. Therefore, I wanted to do something different. I started making smoothies, for my per-workout and post-workout. 

It's all natural!   

There are far more benefits in drinking smoothies than protein shakes. 

  • A source of proteins -- Believe it or not, a smoothie actually has a lot of proteins in it. 
  • A source of fiber -- Helps your daily business (if you know what I mean)  
  • It tastes much better than protein shakes. 
  • It cuts half of the price from your protein shakes.
  • As healthy as you can get. 
  • It's all natural, not harmful at all. 


Major Ingredients for your Drink! 

There are some major ingredients that will help your workout and your body. For me, it was really helpful to have different kinds of fruits and vegetables in my drink. Since I do not like eating greens in my regular meals, it is the best way to have it in my smoothies. In the end, it will all taste good. Here are some ingredients that will boost your workout game.

  • Spinach -- they might just look like leaves, but they can help improve muscle performance by lowering the amount of oxygen the muscles use when being stressed during a workout. 
  • Kale --  has a lot of nutrients to the table including, vitamins A, C, and K, calcium, and iron.
  • Banana -- can prevent cramps.
  • Nuts -- good source of protein
  • Eggs -- good nutrition and protein
  • There are many more fruits and vegetables that can benefit you.
